Leading to a Curious World
The funding from Arts Council England and the amazing support from People Dancing, Mothers Who Make, The Point Eastleigh, Sussex Dance Network as well as local support near to our headquarters in Emsworth (Military Welfare Thorney, PACSO, Pavillion Dance, ECA, Museum of the Royal Navy Portsmouth, Emsworth Mums, teachers, parents, schools and nurseries) will allow us to grow a team of local Artists through training and delivery, support the development of the Associate Artist Role and offer resources and support via our Blog 'The Reflective Practitioners'
The project will grow our current Literacy and Cross Curriculum provision in schools and nurseries in West Sussex, Hampshire as well as Derbyshire and Bournemouth through a ‘collective’ structure which values individual contribution but provides a supportive platform of shared values for Artists own Artistry, Business and life juggle, with research and focus towards supporting Mothers who Make!
The project will also support us in our journey ‘Leading to Curious World’ which wants to provide opportunities for military families, families with children with additional needs as well as live theatre work within hospital settings. We hope to be able to develop towards working with health practitioners providing a safe space for mums experiencing Post Natal Depression as well as giving a voice to Mums at a time of big change.
We will be recruiting Artists to work in West Sussex/Hampshire.
We are looking to find new schools and settings who would like our work.
We want to support artists wider in Reflective Practice via our blog, articles and resources...
