Jo Cone Dance - Projects/Workshops
Romans, Thailand, bullying, weather, poetry, Van Gogh, recycling. What ever the theme I can design workshops to meet yours and participants needs. Ideal for Arts or Activity weeks.
Projects can range from whole day with one group, or 1hr sessions over a number of weeks. Dance can be used as a means of teaching other subjects, or be used to cover teachers 0.5 time.

Inset training, consultation and advice
I offer Inset days for individual schools as well as through West Sussex County Council. I also offer consultation, and advice with generating lesson ideas, school shows and any other dance related queries.

Dance For All - (Pre/ Schools, Community Groups, PRU's, Day Centres, Youth clubs, Guiding and Scouts.)
I pride myself on being able to create positive dance experiences for a vast variety of groups from Tots to Elders, Children, Young people and adults with and without learning disabilities, young people at risk, boys and intergeneration groups.

Theme based workshops and projects
Projects/workshops can include Contemporary or Street Dance, or a mix.
They can be creative, choreographic, team building, used to create public performance, or as part of fundraising event.
All Workshops and projects will be designed to meet the needs of the group.
Dance For Camera
Dance and film can be used to explore issue based work, stories, curriculum, youth culture, community issues as well as a way of learning new skills.

Site Specific
Not got a studio or hall? Why not use dance to explore sites around your school, community, or local area. Dance in sites can generate a new found respect for participants, can become a history lesson, or create a whole new experience for participants and audience.
Technique and Choreography
I offer technique and Choreography in Contemporary, Musical Theatre and Street Dance.
Collaborative Arts
As a trained Related Artist I can offer projects and workshops using dance with sensory focus, voice and sound, text, art and drama. I also work within a network of local Artists, Musicians and Film Makers who can work with me to offer collaborative projects.
